Ten Days Later . . .

. . . I am still trying to figure out what this moment at the third presidential debate was all about:

I didn't see the debate (heard it on the radio). I found the video on YouTube and from the center of the auditorium it is clear that McCain was in a temporary quandary over which direction he should go to come out from behind the table to shake Bob Schieffer's hand. From the angle above and especially in a still shot it makes McCain look bizarre but from the front it looked much less kooky.

Apparently McCain tripped while crossing the stage and the photo caught him as he tripped forward. Much less fun than it looks, I fear.
